I Had to Move Quickly to Find a Place to Rest My Head Each Night

I think that most people would crumble under the bad year that I just went through. I certainly did. You don’t know just how strong you are until things that are incredibly sad happen. I am now living in some Rio Rancho luxury apartments and trying to get back on my feet. The nice surroundings help a bit, I think. It helps to calm me and feel like I’m in my own little world when I’m in my apartment. This is exactly what I need at this point in time.

It didn’t seem right to call the person I was with for 30 years my boyfriend. We never got married. When we were very young, we saw no need. But when you get older, you will see that there’s a need for it because of a variety of legal situations. So, to make matters easier, I called him my husband, and he called me his wife. We were committed to one another, and that’s all that mattered to me at the time. The problem is that he was killed in a hit and run accident. My name was not on the house contract we lived in for decades. His family took it away. I was stunned and had nowhere to go.

Knowing that I only had 30 days to vacate the house we shared for so long, I had to quickly find a place to live. I couldn’t believe that I had to leave the only place that I had known for so long with a person who meant the world to me. But facts were facts, and I had to move quickly. I found a really nice luxury place that was surprisingly affordable to live in. It was certainly nicer than where I had been living, and when I’m in my place, it actually feels like a home.

Moving to Virginia for My Niece

When my niece asked me if I would move closer to her, it did not take me long to think about it. I was living in Pittsburgh at the time, and I had no family left around me since my parents had moved to Florida the previous year. I did see my niece still, but it was not as often as I would like since we were nearly six hours apart. She told me that there are some really nice Lynchburg apartments that she had found online, and it did not take me long to find out that they really were nice.

It is not that I was discounting her opinion. I just knew that a child’s impression of a nice apartment was probably different than mine, but I should have known that she would find a really nice place. The bonus in this apartment complex is that it is only about five minutes from where she lives. To be able to see her every day if I wanted to rather than just a couple of times a year or on video chat meant the world to me. I was able to apply for an apartment right there on their website, which was a very easy process.

I knew that I wanted a two bedroom apartment, because I had a feeling I was going to become her unofficial babysitter. She is only ten years old, so it will be a while before she can stay on her own. I was hoping that she would stay with me a lot actually, because she is like the daughter I have never had. When she found out that she was going to have her own room in my new apartment, she was over the moon about it. I have to admit that I was, and still am, over the moon about all of this myself.

We Decided to Get an Apartment Together

My friend and I realized how silly we were not long ago. We met a couple of years ago when we both had our own apartments. We hit it off so well, and we became instant best friends. Since our apartments are nearly 20 minutes from one another, it was nothing to see me at her apartment or her at mine. We would spend the night a lot since we would stay up late. One night while we were talking, we realized we should look for two bedroom apartments in Henderson Nevada so we could just become roommates.

We knew that eventually, we would end up finding the men we wanted to marry. We weren’t planning on living together forever, but it did make sense for us to share expenses since we were at each other’s places so much anyway. We would end up saving money since we would not be doubling the rent either of us were paying by getting a two bedroom apartment. If anything, it would only be a couple hundred more a month if that. Also, we would be saving on the bills we were paying double on, like utilities and cable.

Once we determined that we wanted to live together, it did not take us long to find the apartment complex we wanted to live in. This one has a lot that neither of ours before had, like a really nice swimming pool as well a a fitness center that has all of the equipment that will help keep us honest with our diets. The apartment is really nice too, and it feels so good to just come home, kick off my shoes, and have dinner with the person who means the most to me in the world right now. That will change one day, but I am content with how things are right now.

The Cold Came Unexpectedly in Spring

An unexpected cold front came through in the middle of spring, causing everyone to turn on their heaters to keep warm. This kind of weather phenomenon doesn’t happen very often, which is why people don’t really prepare for it. Lots of people were covering their plants to make sure that the cold front didn’t wipe them out. I couldn’t turn on my heater because something was wrong with it. I had to get repairs from HVAC services in Manhattan, NY before I could have heat flowing through my vents again. Luckily the cold front didn’t last very long.

After the cold front, things went back to the way they normally are in the spring. The birds were flying around, the flowers were opening up, and the insects were buzzing around. If there’s anything on this planet that I truly hate, it’s insects. They always find some kind of way to annoy me. The ants keep making hills in my lawn and whenever I spray them, they just move from one location to the next. The wasps keep trying to start nests on parts of my home, and when they’re not doing that, they’re buzzing around me. I would love to start a garden of my own, but I’m afraid that the insects would eat all of my crops and leave me with nothing but chewed leaves and debris.

I can’t wait until winter arrives again, because that’s when all of the insects are hiding from the cold. I can go outside and the only thing I have to worry about is freezing to death. Sometimes the insects try to sneak inside my home, but they don’t make it very far. I have a vacuum cleaner on standby, waiting to suck them up and send them around the canister for a few cycles.

Convenient Beach Living in Massachusetts!

When you think of living right next to the ocean where you have property right there at a really nice beach, where is it located? I have to admit that most people think of a southern state. However, you do not have to live in a part of the country that does not have the seasons you like just to be close to the beach. We live in one of the nicest Revere apartments up in the state of Massachusetts. We are only a few minutes outside of Boston in a really nice area. We just hop on over to the beach pretty much every opportunity we get in the summer. We take early morning and late evening walks in the sand and enjoy the sounds of the surf all up here in the northern part of the States.

We like being able to commute to our work in Boston in less time than some people who live in the city need to get to work using public transportation. It takes me about 25 minutes to get to the office on a workday. The same goes for my trip back home in the evening. My wife sometimes faces some rush hour traffic, and her commute can be about 40 minutes on some days. Still, that is not bad for being able to live at the beach and work in the city.

We have big windows, a private balcony, walk-in closets, and ceilings that go up to 11 feet! We have quartz countertops and a washer and dryer provided right in the apartment. The place is really nice. When we do want to travel without driving, we just walk over to the “T” station and can go anywhere. I do not even have to take my car to get to Logan airport. That is convenient and saves on parking fees. This is the most convenient place we have ever lived, and we get to enjoy all of the wonderful seasons.

The Most Convenient Apartment Around

Most decisions in life can be reduced to how much convenience they provide. People buy food based on how easy it is to cook the food. They buy furniture because it’s easier to buy it rather than male it themselves. Even among that bought furniture, people usually choose items that are pre-assembled. This also hold true for apartments. When I selected the Alamo Heights apartments as a living place, I did so because of convenience. I was looking for an apartment that would be the closest to where I had to work and where my college courses were held, so I went with it.

There were a lot of other choices I could have made for an apartment, but I felt this one was the best one because of convenience alone. It was pure coincidence that the apartment happened to have better amenities than all of the other choices in the area, and also had one of the best things: a pool for swimming. This can also count as another form of convenience. There is a swimming pool on the college campus near my apartment, but I would have to go into campus each time for a swim. Since there is a pool at the apartment, all I have to do is just put on my swimming trunks and head downstairs for a swim.

I’ve got a couple of semesters left in college before I’ll be done with it, so I plan to be staying in the apartments for quite a while. Even after college is over, I may still be living in the apartments for a while. There’s something about this city that I really like. It has quite a charm and the people are quite nice. Most of the great people I know I’ve met at the apartment and at the campus.
